Along the railway
Studio Cikán
The apartment building along the railway line at the border of Vršovice and Nusle combines urban living with commercial and community spaces.
The ground floor enlivens the surrounding area with diverse uses, including shops, a bicycle storage room, and a two-story community room for residents' gatherings and events. The apartments start from the second floor and are accessed via galleries, which in some areas provide more privacy and extend the individual apartment spaces. Each apartment has a loggia and an open layout that ensures more light and airiness.
The raised inner courtyard serves as a space for relaxation and work, including coworking spaces and apartments with front gardens. The façade is made of movable perforated metal, allowing the regulation of privacy and light, while the walkable roof offers views of the surrounding neighborhood.
